A special afternoon dedicated to sport, community and the Christmas spirit. A significant meeting took place yesterday at the headquarters of Marini Impianti, the company of the honorary president of Cisterna Volley, Massimiliano Marini. Athletes, technicians, managers, sponsors and local administrators gathered together with the mayor of Cisterna, Valentino Mantini, the provincial commander of the Fire Brigade, Giacomo Cancellieri, and the press to exchange Christmas greetings and toast the future of the team and the city. The day was an opportunity not only to celebrate the conclusion of an intense year, but also to reflect on the goals achieved and the prospects that the next year could hold for Cisterna Volley and the local community.
Mayor Valentino Mantini underlined the value of sport as a tool for social cohesion and promotion of the territory: “Celebrating with Cisterna Volley the end of a year in which sporting competitions represented a viaticum for our city is an honour. Sport is health, it is growth, and it is important at both a professional and amateur level. For next year we aim to increase and improve sporting activities in our community.”
