Cisterna Volley is ready to face the away match in the Marche against Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina, to try to achieve the third consecutive success in the championship, after the good successes against Valsa Group Modena and Gioiella Prisma Taranto. Presenting the challenge against the freshman led by coach Ortenzi is central Aleksandar Nedeljkovic: “We are about to face Grottazzolina, and I think it will be a difficult match – says the Serbian international – Especially because we will be playing at their home ground. Usually, the Super League teams they manage to give their best when they play within friendly walls, and I think this applies to us too. However, we know that Grottazzolina is going through some difficulties at the moment, and I think we can take advantage of this to bring home some point.”
Nedeljkovic was among the absolute protagonists of this start, scoring 65 points in the 36 sets played: “In the last few matches we have reached a good level of play. We played excellent volleyball, remaining focused and continuing on this path. The victories against Modena and Taranto were fundamental to gaining confidence. If we continue like this, we can achieve great results. Against Modena we had a difficult start, but in the end we managed to find our rhythm, demonstrating what we are capable of reacting was the key to winning and increased our confidence. Now we are more confident and determined to do well.”
It is forbidden to underestimate Grottazzolina, who, despite not having found the joy of victory, has always made life difficult for his opponents: “They arrived in the Super League this year, and everyone wants to stay in this competition and play the best volleyball possible.
