Once the work in the gym that kicked off the 24/25 season began in recent days, Cisterna Volley is preparing to open the sports hall to the public. Specifically, for Cisterna Volley it will be the opportunity to continue preparation together with the national Under 20 men’s team, led by the federal coach Michele Zanin, in view of the European Category Championships, scheduled from 26 August to 7 September in Vrnjačka Banja (Serbia ) and Arta (Greece).
The young Italian group, which concluded the collegiate season in Camigliatello Silano yesterday, during which it trained with the same age group from Latvia, will play two important joint training sessions against the Cisterna Volley Super League team.

The joint training program will officially open on Wednesday 21 August at 6.30 pm with the first match between the Italians and coach Guillermo Falasca’s Cisterna Volley. The king match is scheduled, however, again at the Palasport in Cisterna di Latina, on Friday 23 August at 6.30 pm.
These joint training sessions will be an important opportunity for the young Italian group to compete with a top-level team like Cisterna Volley, in view of the key event of the season: the Under 20 European Championships.

“For us this is a very important double event – explains coach Falasca – The team is not complete to date, it will be interesting to understand how the players will respond. In these first days of work we are carrying out predominantly technical work, as we do not have several elements available. In the two joint training sessions we won’t have to look so much at the result, but at the physical fitness of the boys. From next week Willner Rivas, Yuga Tarumi, Michele Baranowicz and Jacopo Tosti will arrive in Cisterna, we will have the opportunity to work at a slightly higher level. We will face these commitments without having a natural opposite, I will have to try different options, the important thing for us will be to play a lot in view of the next tests.”
