The lead-up to the match on Sunday 7 January (at 8pm) begins, which will see Cisterna Volley playing, at home, against Farmitalia Catania. The match against the Sicilian team, valid for the second return day of the Super League championship, is a crucial direct clash: Cisterna is tenth with 10 points and Catania is last with four points and, in the first leg match, the team from Catania took the three points from Cisterna by winning 3-1, creating quite a few problems for coach Guillermo Falasca’s team.

At PalaCatania the match lasted two hours and Cisterna was defeated in a comeback after winning the first set (22-25) with the second and third segments of the match decided by the advantages (26-24, 26-24) and with the fourth closed 25-14. On that occasion Buccheger scored 26 points with 69% in attack while Theo Faure responded with 18 points (47) for the Pontini team. In light of the ranking situation, even if not yet decisive, Sunday’s match still takes on considerable value, one of those challenges that the public likes so much.

Pre-sale at the box office at the Viale delle Province building in Cisterna di Latina is open from 4 January and will continue on Friday 5 January (from 6pm to 8pm), Saturday 6th (4pm – 6pm) and Sunday of the match from 10 :00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 until the start of the match. After the match against Catania, Cisterna Volley will be busy at Allianz Milano: in the first leg at Cisterna Jordi Ramon and his partners won three sets, an important and convincing success. The match at the Allianz Cloud is scheduled for Sunday 14 January at 5pm and can be followed in live streaming on the Volleyball World TV platform. The fourth and fifth days of the regular season will then both be at home for Cisterna Volley: at Padova it will arrive at the Viale delle Province building on Sunday 21 January (at 7pm) and on Wednesday 24 January (at 8.30pm) it will be Piacenza’s turn. In the first leg Cisterna got a small point from the away match in Padua while in Piacenza they suffered a 3-1 defeat.
