Cisterna Volley warms up its engines in view of the next Superlega Credem Banca season, which will see the team welcome Itas Trentino for the first time at home on 29 September. Coach Falasca, in his second year at Cisterna, will be able to count on a tested working group, which will see, in addition to a trio of confirmations, the inclusion of athletic trainer Andrea Bianchetti in the technical staff.

Falasca’s right-hand man will remain Roberto Cocconi, second coach already last season with Cisterna Volley and with a past at Top Volley in the Super League and in Modena in B: “I am very happy to continue my journey with Cisterna Volley, with a group now proven, we want to continue the work started a year ago with Falasca, with the desire on the part of all of us to commit ourselves to try to do something more”.

As third coach there will always be Elio Tommasino, who has also been involved in the Super League since 2019 first with Top Volley and then with Cisterna Volley: “I am happy to continue a path that began five years ago now, thanks to the club which has renewed its trust in myself. Our goal will be to continue the work started last season, many players have been confirmed and we will be able to continue the journey together with them, trying to do better.”

Finally, the team’s scoutman will be Maurizio Cibba, with many years of experience in the role in the Italian top flight: “This will be my eleventh season in the Super League, between Top Volley and Cisterna Volley. I am very happy with the trust that has been placed in my work, I will try to give my best to be able to achieve even more results than in other years. I am happy to be able to collaborate with Falasca and the rest of the staff, where in addition to the coach who I have known since last year, a very close-knit group has been created.”

The new addition to the staff boasts many years of experience in the sector, with a last season spent at Dinamo București, a team last year involved in Romania’s top flight and in the Challenge Cup. Before the experience abroad, for the class of ’91 a three-year period with the Fenice Pallavolo Roma, a historic sporting reality in Lazio: “Arriving in the Super League certainly presents you with great challenges and great stimuli, being a very competitive and prestigious championship. Being part of it, with the team from my region, is something special. As regards the athletic part, the objective will be to ensure that the entire team performs well at all times. Each player must be ready to express themselves to the maximum in every situation.”
