He is 19 and a half years old, but for him it is already his third season in the Serie A3 Credem Banca championship. Coming from Diavoli Rosa Brugherio, with whom he won practically everything at youth level (last May he was also on the field in the San Giustino final for the awarding of the Italian Under 19 title) and still “fresh” from the European Under 20 with the National team, Daniele Carpita (in the photo, one of his attacks in the home match against Sarlux Sarroch) is facing his first experience outside his native Lombardy with the ErmGroup Altotevere shirt, motivated and confident, while still remaining in the White group of the category. His skills are undoubted and not just as a spiker: in the 3-1 against Sarlux Sarroch, Carpita demonstrated his ability to block, serve and receive as well. With him, we analyze the 0-3 suffered by the biancazzurri in San Donà di Piave against Personal Time, placing emphasis on a situation that also occurred on the first day in Ancona: this time after a set and a half fought on equal terms, or in any case with the result still hanging around, the plug was pulled again, as evidenced by the epilogue of the second half and the 14-25 with which the third half ended. Why does this happen? “First of all, I believe that last Sunday we never actually managed to get into the game – declares Carpita – but above all we suffered too much from the approach given to the match by our opponents: that is, they left the game in our hands and we committed too many errors.
