In the last three days Caorle has been the capital of youth volleyball with the National Under 12 volleyball S3 3vs3 Trophy. The blue flag Venetian town hosted 21 men’s and 21 women’s teams. The event organized by Fipav Veneto had the support of the Volley Team Club San Donà and the Prealpi San Biagio Caorle bank. Forty-two teams from all over Italy competed for the trophies at the PalaExpomar, a very exciting three days of competition took place in the 5,000 square meter multifunctional facility.
In the women’s field, San Donà Piave Volley won 2-1 against Giorgione (15-12; 10-15; 15-14); third place for Pgs Issa who beat Viserba 2-1 (15-11; 12-15; 13-15).
In the men’s category, the Ligurian team Colombo Volley defeated Lucky Volley Reggio Calabria 2-0 (15-8; 15-7). On the lowest step of the podium was Sir Perugia Youth Volleyball who defeated Portogruaro 2-1 (15-6; 12-15; 15-6).
Three days of good matches, but above all important for the growth of sporting practice among the younger ones.
