Atlantide Pallavolo Brescia and Comunità Montana di Valle Camonica Sports Department take another step forward: after the beautiful experience in September with a mini retreat and friendly match in Capo di Ponte – organized by the Gruppo Aragosta thanks to the support of the Comunità Montana – now there is also a collaboration in view of the summer and the possibility of following all the remaining men’s Serie A2 championship matches for free, initiatives aimed at all the boys and girls in the Valley who play volleyball.
Thanks to this partnership, all the Camunian clubs, also with the collaboration of the CSI Vallecamonica, will be able to offer their athletes Summer Volleyball, a week-long beach holiday dedicated to volleyball and fun. And each club will be able to actively participate in the camp even with its own coaches.
Summer Volleyball, offered for over 20 years by Tucano Sport&Fun in collaboration with Atlantide, is a sporting holiday involving boys and girls aged 8 to 17, who play volleyball, but not only. The organizers make available the best facilities on the Romagna Riviera for the kids to spend a week of pure fun, including sports and free time, games and organized evenings.
The Sports Councilor of the Mountain Community of Valle Camonica Massimo Maugeri declares: “We are happy to have established this collaboration agreement between the Volleyball club of our city and our district body. For us it is extremely important to give our young athletes the opportunity to show off their qualities by coming into direct contact with those who enjoy sport at a high level.”
Equally enthusiastic about the collaboration is Roberto Zambonardi, coach of the Atlantide first team, protagonist in the men’s Serie A2 championship and technical director of the youth sector: “For years the camp has been the summer reference point for many of the families who send their children and own daughters at our courses. Since that friendly match in September in which we were overwhelmed by enthusiasm, we understood that in Valle Camonica there is a desire for volleyball and there are many people who love this sport. That’s why we invite everyone to our Summer Volleyball! From experience I can tell you that those who take part in these holidays return to the gym even more willingly after the summer!”.
