In 1982 the Pool Libertas Cantù was born in the Città del Mobile as a reference point for volleyball in Como and Brianza. At the same time, a movement was born on the Milanese and world scene that became iconic and distinctive, which saw Memphis Design as one of the most daring experiments, which drew inspiration from past and present design: distinctive features were the use of bright colors and geometric shapes, with a skilful recovery of kitsch.

It is from these bases that the study and approach of our Designer and Project Coordinator Giovanni Indorato were born for the 2024/2025 uniforms of the Serie A2 Credem Banca team, which exude the ’80s, lines and designs, but without losing sight the corporate colors and the links to Cantù.

“I think that for any fan even just of shirts and uniforms, the Memphis experience from which I freely drew inspiration for this new season’s project is to be considered an important stage in the process of internationalization of ‘postmodern’, having given leading to an entire generation of styles and designs that remained unchanged even in the following decades – says Giovanni -. If we look at the Furniture world alone, the objects produced by the Collective are still coveted by collectors, and continue to be a source of inspiration in the most varied fields, particularly in fashion design.”

Four uniforms, therefore, and four colors between Squadra and Liberi, with some new features.

“The two-tone green remains for the home uniform – he concludes –, with contrasting incursions that wink at the Main Sponsor, while the away tradition is completely changed, switching to a white and red (which the public liked so much in the first Libero uniforms last season, ed.) stronger and more impactful, but always with green references to the club colours. The Liberi will have a more linear and geometric design in white-blue on the taraflex friendly to the PalaFrancescucci in Casnate with Bernate, and a new and particularly alluring black-fluorescent away, for an ’80s tribute that fully summarizes the entire concept”.
