Late this morning, on the occasion of the Volley Market in Bologna, the Ordinary Assembly of the Lega Pallavolo Serie A clubs elected the new representatives of the Board of Directors of the Lega Pallavolo. Present on behalf of CEV were Aleksandar Boričić, President, and Renato Arena, Vice President, and President Giuseppe Manfredi, representing Fipav, who wished the Board of Directors good work in view of the next season.
As his mandate expires, Massimo Righi was confirmed as President and CEO of the Serie A Volleyball League, while two new members were elected today: Sergio Di Meo (President of Evolution Green Aversa) and Michele Miccolis (President of BCC Tecbus Castellana Caves).
Sergio Di Meo, elected to represent Serie A2 Credem Banca, will take the place of Gabriele Costamagna (President of Puliservice Acqua S.Bernardo Cuneo). Also representing Serie A2, Fabio Mechini (Vice President Emma Villas Siena) was re-elected. For the Serie A3 Credem Banca the President of BCC Tecbus Castellana Grotte Michele Miccolis was elected instead of Franco Da Re.
The Board of Directors of the Serie A Volleyball League will therefore be composed of the President Massimo Righi, Bruno Da Re, Stefano Fanini, Lucio Fusaro, Albino Massaccesi, Stefano Santuz, Gino Sirci, Fabio Mechini and the two new councilors elected today Sergio Di Meo and Michele Miccolis.
