Volley Tricolore ends 2023 with another defeat, the fifth in a row, 3-1 against Tinet Prata of Pordenone. After a hard-fought match and a set taken from the runners-up, Reggio fails to prevail in the last set and concedes victory to the guests, who maintain second place with 30 points, while Reggio remains in eleventh with sixteen points.

Paolo Bonola, central defender from Reggio Emilia, commented on the defeat: “We knew it would be a tough match, because on the other side there was a very organized team, with important high-ball attackers. There is regret because in my opinion in the second set we could have taken advantage of a few more opportunities to close. We are training a lot and now the defeats are starting to take a toll, because five in a row are difficult to digest, but we will try to keep our heads there to face the next match, which will be even more difficult because we will be playing against the league leaders.”

Alessandro Preti, Giallorossi spiker, speaks for the first time to the Reggio microphones: “Tonight I experienced mixed emotions: certainly some positive ones, because we played a good game and we came close to winning the second set against the second in the rankings. On the other hand, I experienced negative sensations, because I know that I could give much more to the team and certainly not being in top condition yet never pleases anyone.”
