To produce a perfect symphony every orchestra needs a conductor. After announcing the names of the protagonists, Negrini CTE is pleased to conclude the announcements with the setter of the team that will play the next A3 series championship: Giuseppe Bellanova.
Despite being only 21 years old, the young setter from Salento, born in 2003 in Ostuni, already has three seasons in Serie A under his belt (Modena A1 2021/22, Motta di Livenza A2 2022/23, Prata di Pordenone A2 2023/24).
Now Giuseppe is ready to move the reins of the Acqui Terme team, to which he introduces himself by starting to retrace his career: “My volleyball career began in my hometown, Ostuni where I started the youth championships and series D and C. In In 2019 I went to Modena Volley where I spent 3 years alternating U19 and Serie B championships with training with Serie A and having the opportunity to make my debut in the Champions League. The last two seasons I spent one in Motta di Livenza and the other in Prata di Pordenone in A2. Two fundamental years for my professional growth”
A growth that will continue in Acqui Terme where Bellanova will be the youngest player of the starting sextet:
“I immediately liked Negrini CTE’s proposal both for the seriousness of the company and for the skill and professionalism of coach Totire. The project presented to me is excellent and I understood that I could grow a lot here from many points of view. The level of A3 will be very high next year, many teams have strengthened. It’s still early to talk about goals for next season, when we’ll all be in the gym together we’ll define them, for now I can say that we have an interesting mix of experienced players and young prospects.”
In conclusion: “The unity of the group must be our strong point”
