After the first week of work, the preparation of the new Banca Macerata – Fisiomed MC continues. Coach Maurizio Castellano was able to closely evaluate the group and draw the first ideas, “In this phase the first objective is to get to know each other. We are working on game situations but above all on being together, in order to understand the characteristics of the group well; the team has changed a lot compared to last year, it takes time to find the right harmony but we are working well.”
“Together with the athletic trainer Gianluca Paolorosso we had given all the players a program to follow during the summer to be ready for training,” explains the coach, “And I can say that I am satisfied; the boys have worked and little by little they will all reach the same level of fitness.”
Banca Macerata – Fisiomed MC will then be involved in a series of friendly tests in the coming weeks, “They will help us get ready for the start of the championship. Compared to last year, when we could allow ourselves to grow during the matches, we have planned a different preparation: this season we have to start strong straight away, a very competitive tournament awaits us.” The first match of the A2 championship will be played on Sunday 6 October and will see Banca Macerata Fisiomed MC challenge Abba Pineto.
