Once the Pineto case has been archived, it is already time for Banca Macerata Fisiomed MC to redeem itself. The second first leg presents the only Marche derby that will be played in this A2 championship and will see our boys face the fearsome hosts of Smartsystem Essence Hotels Fano in their fort. Despite the stuttering start against Pineto, certainly the result of too many errors and a lack of continuity, the first away match represents a wonderful opportunity for Macerata to put the not so positive start behind it and begin its run-up towards the set objectives.

The two teams both come from a defeat, Pineto prevailed in the first match of the Banca Macerata Forum, while Fano was defeated by the maximum margin in Ravenna. The lack of points in the standings certainly does not reduce the value and caliber of the two rosters: coach Castellano (formerly of the match, like Ferri) and his staff will be forced to develop a match plan which will involve the limitation of the creativity of Coscione, a very experienced director, and with the creative streak of the main Fano forwards, Marks above all.

It is the clash between the two teams that achieved promotion last year: the teams have changed, but the ambition of both clubs has certainly not changed: to fight competitively for every ball to bring their own name and that of the region on as high as possible this year.

The boys are already in the gym working to be ready on Sunday 13 October at 6pm in the always fiery setting of the Palasport Allende in Fano. The referees of the match will be Claudio Amendola and Giuliano Venturi. Free live on VBTV.
