Libero Andrea Bleve is a new player for Aurispa Lecce, a piece that completes the roster for the 2024/25 season.
Bleve, born in 2004 and 180 cm tall, is a Salento native and is a product of the nursery, having grown up in the Progetto Azzurra Alessano. The libero has already been called up to the first team during the 2021/22 season. In the last two seasons, however, he was loaned to Pag Volley Taviano in Serie B.
These are his first statements: “I immediately accepted the offer from manager Scarascia, because I have always felt comfortable at Aurispa. I played for two years in Taviano in Serie B, but as soon as the club called me back, I was happy to be able to return at home. I’m sure that I will get along well with my new teammates and that we will achieve our seasonal goals. I can’t wait to start this new experience, to meet the fans and the Leones again at the stadium.”
Sports director Antonio Scarascia shored up the Aurispa Lecce roster, also defining the latest market moves and making a mix of young and experienced athletes available to coach Tonino Cavalera. They include: the setters Giani and D’Alba, the central players Deserio, Maletto and Omaggi, the spikers Mazzone, Ferrini, Iannaccone and Colaci, the opposite players Penna and Cimmino, and the liberos Cappio and Bleve.
The team will meet again at the end of August for the pre-season meeting, in view of the start of the season, which will officially start on October 13th with the home match against JV Gioia Del Colle.
