The Pink Devils continue on the path of young bets and in the middle promote the 2006 class Riccardo Aretz to the first team who will face his first season in the Serie A3 Credem Banca Championship.
Aretz runs fast. Having arrived at Diavoli Rosa a year ago, after his sporting beginnings in Desio, where he also played in the Serie B championship, in such a short time he has added two national youth silver medals to his CV, in under 19 and under 20 Junior League, and a promotion to Serie B and then earning, in just one season, also a call to Serie A3.
Seriousness, determination, commitment, knowing how to get involved and listen make him an athlete to focus on, the right choice for the first team context of the Pink Devils.
Here is another 2006 ready for the great debut on the Serie A pitches. Riccardo Aretz will be, together with Viganò and Zara, one of the central defenders available to coach Durand in the Serie A3 Credem Banca Championship for the 2024/25 season.
Coach Danilo Durand on Aretz’s choice in the first team: “He arrived last year, he was a real revelation. He also started in the hierarchies behind all his equal roles, he earned the starting place in the Junior League final and thus also the possibility of playing the next A3 series championship with us. He is a very intelligent player, tactically he knows how to listen and I am sure that this year he will also give us great satisfaction on the pitch.”
Riccardo Aretz’s statement: “I joined the Pink Devils last season and this is allowing me to live experiences of the highest level and the promotion to Serie A is the reconfirmation of the possibilities for growth and the challenges that are proposed to us in order to improve every year. Next season will be important for me, it is my last year of youth and the first in the world of Serie A but, thanks to dedication, work in the gym and a unique and characteristic team spirit of this club, I am sure that it will be a year of growth and opportunities. I want to thank all my teammates and coaches from whom I never stop learning and Delvecchio for putting me in the physical conditions to be able to tackle this journey. I am grateful to Danilo and the club for the trust placed in me and I can’t wait to get on the pitch.”
