On Wednesday the red and white general manager Beppe Cormio, guest at the microphones of Radio Arancia, partner broadcaster of Cucine Lube Civitanova, answered the questions of Alessandro Ranieri, host of the information program “7×4”. A few days before the starting whistle of the Credem Banca 5th Place Play Off Final, scheduled for Saturday 27 April (6 pm) at the Pala Agsm AIM against the hosts of Rana Verona, the kitchen manager underlined Lube’s reaction in the last matches, highlighting, however, an unfavorable moment in the infirmary and returning to the generational change taking place in the roster of the vice-champions of Italy.
General Manager Beppe Cormio:
“The Semi-final in Piacenza and the latest matches confirmed a performing team, regardless of who took to the field. Now, however, we are in difficulty with the substitutions due to the unavailable players and we have to rely on the performances of the owners. The team with Giannini found serenity and blended together, leaving behind some tension. This allows you to express yourself more lightly. Beyond the excellent results obtained in recent times against excellent teams, the team plays having fun and with determination, something that was lacking in the final part of the Regular Season perhaps because the stakes were higher and certainly not due to the responsibility of Blengini who it always worked well. There’s a match missing that won’t be easy at all, but the general opinion on how this Pool was tackled will remain positive. We are carrying out a generational change, the reconstruction phases are part of the history of the Clubs and are part of the sport. At this juncture we are looking for confirmation on the game situations and the performances of some players. We thought the most difficult aspect was motivating players who already have their suitcase in hand, but at Lube everyone continues to give 100%, even those who know they’re changing shirts, so I congratulate the boys and the staff.”
