Great enthusiasm last night at the Delta Sporting Club in Porto Viro for the official presentation of the 2024/2025 Delta Volleyball teams. The event, which traditionally inaugurates the new sports season, attracted friends, sponsors and black and fuchsia fans to the structure in Viale VII Mari, who came to give the first hug to the giants of the Serie A2 Delta Group and to the boys and girls of the youth sector.

The evening opened with institutional greetings, naturally doing the honors was the President of Delta Volley Luigi Veronese, who then passed the baton to the Vice Mayor of Porto Viro Thomas Giacon and to the City Councilor with responsibility for Sport Chiara Bovolenta.

Overview of youth activity, increasingly central to the Delta Volley project: the now three-year collaboration with Adria Volley has been confirmed, as have the projects aimed at students “At the school of volleyball” and “Delta4School”, the big news this year it is the first, historic participation of Delta Volley in the Junior League, the Italian Under 20 championship organized by the Serie A Volleyball League.

Space for the protagonists of the field, therefore, i.e. the athletes and technicians who will animate the next season: the mixed S3/U12 Il Patio group will once again be led by Sebastiano Ballo and Ilaria Bonafè, while the U14 Male Adria-Delta Delta Maris, the U17 Male Delta-Adria Brasserie and the 2nd Female Division Delta Pink will have the newly arrived Daniele Battocchio at the helm. Triple assignment also for the confirmed Andrea Boscolo, who is entrusted with the U19 Men’s Delta-Adria and the Serie D Men’s – both SiderFerrari branded – together with the aforementioned U20 Men’s Il Patio, the next protagonist in the Junior League.

Not just players and coaches, Delta Volley also wanted to celebrate those figures who, although essential, often work away from the spotlight, i.e. the company’s managers, called one by one to the stage to receive the right tribute for their daily commitment.

The grand finale obviously was all for the first black and fuchsia team, the renewed A2 Men’s Serie by Delta Group. Drums, chants and applause welcomed the entrance of the athletes (two of the eight new signings, Magliano and Andreopoulos, playing for the national team were absent) and the members of the technical and medical staff (Massimo Zambonin was unable to be present due to a family bereavement).
