An all-Abruzzo setter squad, alongside Lorenzo Piazza from Pescara, there will be room – in the Serie A3 Credem Banca tournament – for Antonio Del Fra from Vasto.
«I am really happy to be able to play another season with this club which has given me further confidence. For me, staying in Campobasso is like staying at home. The club made me feel fully part of this project and the hope is that, also in the next season, significant results can be achieved.”
Returning to the last season – the one of the treble – Del Fra indicates «the secret of our results is the harmony of the group. Nobody tried to overwhelm the others, we were all inclined to improve ourselves and, above all, there was great friendship between us.”
A cohesion capable of making you fully fall in love with the Campobasso environment. «Having many fans following you is a factor – recalls the director – and the public, when it fills the stands, is to all intents and purposes the seventh man on the pitch and can make the difference».
For his part, among other things, Del Fra was ambassador of the Spike Devils universe for two new teammates such as the director Lorenzo Piazza and the central Tommaso Fabi, his teammates with Ortona.
«When I learned that there would be the possibility of them coming here to Molise, I immediately spoke to them, giving references about a young club, but inclined to grow a lot».
From B to A3 there will be actions with increasingly higher ball speeds. «The upward balance of the group will mean that there will be no matches with buffer formation, especially because the presence of a foreigner in the squad significantly increases the quality. With certainty, as a team we will try to have our say and, we of the old guard, will try to be the full glue of this journey in a tournament to be played with maximum motivation”.
Also because, especially at home, you can make a difference. «Within friendly walls, strengthened by the support of our fans, we will have the opportunity to lay the foundations to create important results».
Moreover, with significant experience in the A2 tournament, in view of the A3 «the objective – comments Del Fra – will be to be able to continue to grow in order to have the opportunity to have my say, trying to be at the service of the team at all times to seek individual improvement even off the pitch, as well as in training and in matches.”
