Antoine Brizard is Olympic champion. For the second time in a row after winning the Olympic gold in Tokyo. The director of Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza won the gold medal with the French national team at the Paris Olympics by beating Poland 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-23) in the final. Final which for the first time ever was directed by an Italian referee: Stefano Cesare.
A match which saw the French, encouraged by their fans, play in a perfect manner led on the pitch by Antoine Brizard who, among other things, scored three blocks in.
