Yet another joint training session scheduled for coach Massimiliano Ortenzi’s boys, the third in as many outings in the presence of their cousins from Cucine Lube Civitanova. Tomorrow, Wednesday 11th at 5pm, in fact, the Eurosuole Forum will once again host the test between the hosts coached by Giampaolo Medei and the Yuasa Battery. There is therefore a wait to understand whether the notable progress shown last Friday in the seasonal “premiere” at PalaSavelli may have had a further follow-up, despite the very short time that has passed.
We talked about it with a smiling Tsimafei Zhukousky, director of the Grotese team: “We are working very well, with each passing week we notice progress. Last Friday we already showed improvements compared to the first outing, in which we were very tense as it was also the first match together. However, in the locker room, immediately after the match, we said to ourselves that we still have a lot to improve. We showed a good game for long stretches, but there is still a lot to work on many details that end up making the difference in this championship. We are going on the right path, the team is excited and has a great desire to play. Technically we still have to grow and work a lot, but the group is excellent, everyone is available and has a great desire to improve, I’m very happy. And then seeing all those people for a friendly match is a lot, it rarely happens. They also encouraged us a lot, it was a great feeling, the sports hall is very nice and the games are really good. Tomorrow we will try to understand if in these few days and with a few more workouts we have managed to add something to our game.”
