The confirmations continue at Avimecc Volley Modica, which begins to build the roster for the next A3 series championship, starting from the “hard core” of past seasons.
And after that of Stefano Chillemi, Vincenzo Nastasi, Pedro Putini and the coach Enzo Distefano, that of Andrea Raso could not be missing.
For the middle blocker born in 1996, originally from Sciacca, it will be the seventh championship with the blue and white shirt.
“Andrea Raso – explain the managers of Avimecc Volley Modica – is one of the players we know best both from a human and technical point of view. We trust him very much. He has been with us for seven years and we can now consider him an adopted Modican, so having chosen to start from the hard core of past seasons and reconfirm him for the next championship, we think it was an excellent starting point for the team and above all for the locker room.”
Having arrived in Modica in the 2018/2019 season with Volley Modica which played in Serie B, Andrea Raso is therefore one of the most expert athletes on the Modica roster and his availability towards his teammates will be a stimulus for the entire group that is about to be formed ahead of next season.
“For me – declares Andrea Raso – playing for the seventh consecutive season in Modica is a choice dictated by many reasons, one of the most important is certainly the many beautiful things that the season just ended left me with which also gave me the right dose of energy and lots of motivation to face the next championship to the fullest. The A3 series – he continues – is always raising the level more from season to season, but together with my old and new teammates we will have the sole objective of trying to always improve. All those of the “old guard” – concludes the central defender of Avimecc Volley Modica – will try to pass on to those who come to work with us in the gym the fighting spirit, which for several years has pushed this team to do better and better”.
