Another return to Casa Impavida, this time it is Alessandro Di Tullio, born in Lanciano on 9 July 2001 and raised in Vasto. With his 194 cm height, Alessandro has already played in Serie A3 with the Ortonesi in the opposite role.

Di Tullio took his first steps in indoor volleyball with Enjoy Volley Vasto, but it was in Beach Volley that he discovered his true passion. The turning point in his career came almost by chance, when, still a young opposite of Enjoy Volley, he came close to entering the Abruzzo selection for the Trofeo Delle Regioni. However, his talent did not go unnoticed by the coaches of Sieco Impavida Ortona, who welcomed him into their youth sector.

With the white and blue colors of Sieco, Alessandro achieved his first great satisfactions, winning the under 18 and under 20 regional championships. These successes allowed him to grow and compete with other young talents in the National Finals. Furthermore, he became a staple in Sieco’s Serie C team and was often called upon to support the Serie A2 team’s training sessions.

Despite his young age, Alessandro has already made the leap up the category, playing two seasons with Virtus Paglieta in Serie B, where in his first year he also reached the promotion playoffs. The springboard arrives in the 2022/2023 season when Sieco chooses him as deputy to opposite number Bulfon.

After the season in Ortona, Alessandro accepted the proposal of Canottieri Ongina in Serie B where he played as a spiker, finishing the season with a good placing in fifth place.

“He who leaves the old path for the new, knows what he leaves, and does not know what he finds”, goes an old adage, but what Alessandro Di Tullio finds in his new path as a band player is a new and congenial dimension in which grows rapidly.

Di Tullio, who will play for Sieco next season in A3, is a new player from every point of view: «How did I find myself playing in position four? Very good», replies Alessandro. «I trained a lot in this role and above all I experienced the field. This allowed me to grow technically as a hand spiker. I’m ready to show what I’m worth and how much I’ve improved compared to last season in Ortona. Even though I am aware that I have players of great level and experience in front of me, I will give my all to continue to improve myself and make myself known and appreciated by Coach Denora, hoping to be able to repeat a winning year like that of promotion to Serie A2 in 2022-2023.”
