For more than fifteen years now, at every transfer session Trentino Volley has promoted at least one new product from its thriving yellow-blue youth sector to the men’s first team. The tradition will also be respected during the 2024/25 sporting year: it will be renewed by the spiker Alessandro Bristot who, after having completed the entire process in the Trentino academy and played three Serie B championships with the shirt of the UniTrento Volley project, from at the beginning of next season he will definitively be a player on the Itas Trentino SuperLega roster.
For the nineteen-year-old hammer originally from Feltre it is a promotion earned on the field; in the last season, in addition to being a leading element of the Junior team, which came one step away from promotion to Serie A3 also thanks to his 371 points scored in 27 games, Alessandro has in fact already had the opportunity to demonstrate his great potential, training often under the orders of Fabio Soli. The Trentino coach also found a way to reward his commitment in the last home match of the regular season (last March 3 against Padova), the moment in which he officially debuted in the top flight, also putting forward a second-rate attack line.
A very precocious talent, so much so that he made his debut in Serie A3 in 2020 at just fifteen years old, still wearing the UniTrento shirt, Bristot is a technical, explosive and complete player, a quality that he has also shown in the youth national teams. With the Italian category representatives he won two Gold and three Silver medals, gaining valuable experience at high levels.
“I arrived in Trento in 2019 to be part of the yellow-blue youth sector, precisely to pursue the dream that I realize today: playing in the Super League – explained Alessandro Bristot -. It is therefore an understatement to say that I am very happy for the opportunity that the Company is giving me; already in previous seasons I had had the opportunity to train with the first team and in March I even managed to gain a small space on the pitch. Making my debut in an official match against Padova was a very strong emotion, which I want to relive starting from September, when I will in all respects be a player on the roster. I will deploy all the enthusiasm and determination that this opportunity will offer me. I have a lot to grow, but I can’t wait to get to work to do it.”
