ABBA Pineto’s 2024/25 season in Serie A2 Credem Banca will begin away on the Banca Macerata pitch. This afternoon (Thursday) at the Zanhotel & Meeting Centergross in Bentivoglio (Bologna), in the three-day tradition dedicated to the Volley Market, the Serie A Volleyball League officially presented the calendars of the next championship.
For the second consecutive year, therefore, the white and blues – this year the only Abruzzo team in A2 – will begin their journey away from home. The wait for the debut at the Pala Santa Maria, however, will be only slightly longer: the first home match is set for the following 12 October, when Emma Villas Siena arrives in the Pineta area.
The first round of the regular season will end on December 22nd, while the last round of 2024 is set for December 29th, when it will visit Siena. Regarding the end of the season, net of the post season, conclusion scheduled for 16 March 2025 with a home match against the newly promoted OmiFer Palmi. A single midweek round in the first round: on 31 October, Thursday, ABBA will face Virtus Volley Fano from the Marche region at home. Furthermore, the traditional appointment of December 26th, the feast of Boxing Day and the evening which will see the Banca Macerata arrive at the Pala Santa Maria, is not missing.
During the presentation, the dates of the Del Monte® Coppa Italia Serie A2 were also made official: the round of 16 matches will be played on Sunday 6th, Sunday 13th and Monday 21st April (Easter Monday); followed by the quarterfinals on Thursday 1st May, the semi-finals scheduled for Sunday 4th May and the final scheduled for Sunday 11th May. The following week, Sunday 18 May, the Del Monte® Serie A2 Super Cup will be awarded.
