A week after the defeat on the court of Brescia (3-1), ABBA Pineto back home. Tomorrow (Sunday), for the 12th matchday of Serie A2 Credem Banca, the white and blues will meet Pala Santa Maria again in the match that the calendar proposes against the Piedmontese team MA Acqua S.Bernardo Cuneo. Start set at 6.00pm.
It was anything but a simple match for Di Silvestre and his teammates, who however count on starting from their good moment of form: arriving in Brescia after two consecutive three-point victories – against Ravenna and then Reggio Emilia – ABBA did, yes, lose without picking up any other points, but also in Lombardy he offered a top-level performance. The crowd factor, the atmosphere of Palavolley, will have to do the rest against Cuneo, an opponent fresh from a 3-1 home win at the expense of Banca Macerata and fourth in the standings, -5 from the top.
Pineto resumed training this week with the good feelings left by recent outings. The only discordant note: the physical problem suffered this week by Emanuele Rampazzo, whose conditions remain to be assessed. A happy note, however, is Michael Molinari’s growing form in the centre-backs: «We come from a match in Brescia which left us disappointed for not having collected points, despite a very good performance. In any case, we are happy to have found the continuity of play that we had lacked so far on the road. Now Cuneo arrives: we know the value of our next opponent, a team equipped to do very well, but we want to continue our team growth and want to take advantage of the home round once again.”
