Fourth (and last) successful pre-season test for the EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso. With an improving physical condition, the result of the work of the athletic trainer Luca Suliani, the rossoblù managed to prevail in Sabaudia by two sets to one, making up for the stoppage suffered – last Saturday – at PalaIpia.
Having won the first set 25-22, in the second set the rossoblù – who also feature Zanettin in the starting six plus one – have to suffer the return of their opponents (25-23), only to then go on to forcefully conquer the third by 25- 17.
«Achieving a success in the pre-season certainly boosts morale – the analysis at the end by coach Mariano Maniscalco – and, moreover, in this phase there is a need for this too. Being able to deal with situations on the pitch in a certain way means that you go home happier. We certainly saw a more toned and fresher team for a condition that can only improve. We just had to be able to demonstrate to ourselves the potential of how to work.”
