Verona Volley SSD srl announces that it has acquired the services of the spiker Gustavo Cavalcanti Almeida until 30 June 2023.
Portuguese, the hammer born in 2001 took his first steps in the world of volleyball at home, arriving to wear the Voleibol Clube Viana shirt in the 2019/2020 season. After a season with the Lusitanian team, he moved to SL Benfica, where he joined the U21 team. A year later, Cavalcanti moved to the United States of America, first landing at Emmanuel College Lions and later at Long Island University Brooklyn.
After doing some training last summer under the orders of coach Stoytchev, today the young Portuguese officially became a WithU Verona player.
