Days off for the men’s volleyball VNL. The second week ended last weekend with the national teams closing ranks in view of the final week (to be played between the United States and the Philippines from 4 to 9 July) which will be decisive for deciding the fantastic eight that will compete in the Final Eight scheduled in Gdansk in Poland from 19 to 23 July.
Many athletes from Sir Safety Susa Perugia in contention starting from the blues Giannelli and Russo. Italy, fresh from three wins out of four in the second week of Rotterdam, is currently in seventh place in the general classification. For coach De Giorgi’s training, the matches in the Philippines against Brazil, Canada, Slovenia and the leaders Japan to access the Final Eight will be decisive.

The Volley Market is back, the summer event organized by the Serie A Volleyball League which every year brings together managers and staff of Serie A clubs for refresher courses, discussion tables and various kinds of insights, as well as officially introducing the calendars of the next season.
From Tuesday 11 to Thursday 13 July 2023, the Zanhotel & Meeting Centergross in Bentivoglio, near Bologna, will host the 2023/24 edition of the Volleyball Market, which will end at 2.30 pm on Thursday 13 July with the “2023 Season Presentation and Calendars /24”, the main event of the event which, among guests, artists and awards, will officially kick off the 79th Serie A Credem Banca Championship.
During the days of Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 July, the membership windows will be open, with the FIPAV Membership Office moving right to the Volley Market headquarters.
The traditional meeting that opens the sporting year of men’s volleyball will naturally see the presence of the black and white delegation with the President Gino Sirci, the Sports Director Goran Vujevic and the General Manager Benedetto Rizzuto who will provide for the formal registration of the players and the corporate communication office.
