Under the orders of the new coach of the first team Daniele Moretti and his second Alessandro Mamprin, the training sessions of the Volley Team Club have begun.
After an initial meeting with the management in which the president Fabio Zuliani, the vice president Gianfranco Lorenzon, the DS Eugenio Tassan, the general supervisor Gabriele Busato and the general manager Renato Nani were present, everything ended with the first official toast at the Oasi del Caffè Bar with customary photos in the main municipal square of San Donà di Piave.
A moment to get to know the protagonists of the next A3 championship up close and an opportunity to welcome new faces such as Tulone and Iorno who arrived from their regions of origin, respectively Sicily and Calabria, who after a long journey were welcomed to the land ready for the new adventure.
The first days, as usual, dedicated to athletic training under the watchful eyes of Giacomo Trevisan, also a new addition to the staff of the San Donato team. Friday morning the usual stop in JBA, the Beach Volleyball arena in Jesolo, where our boys continued their preparation on the sand in view of the first test matches in September.
The president Fabio Zuliani was satisfied, present at the first official meetings and training sessions in which he felt the positive atmosphere around the team “Wednesday evening there was the first meeting, always exciting, with all the staff, players and management at the PalaBarbazza. As I said, the beginning of a new season is always nice, getting to know the newcomers and seeing in their faces the desire and the conviction that they have made a good choice. The air you breathe around the group is really positive I’m sure all of this bodes well for an exciting season.”
“We are at the start and I am very satisfied with both the team and the staff” – comments coach Moretti – “we are very concentrated, determined and convinced that we can do well this season. We have a mix of young and old who can help the team grow and therefore to aspire to important results. Obviously our goal is to win all the games, the sooner salvation comes and the sooner we can focus on higher goals”
