Virtus Aversa signs the talented spiker Luca Chiapello. Another important market coup by the company led by the president Sergio Di Meo, with sporting director Alberico Vitullo bringing to Campania an athlete who – already in recent years – has shown that he can be the absolute protagonist also in Serie A. He is a volleyball player of great talent, and now he will be able to demonstrate it also at the PalaJacazzi in front of his new fans. Born on 10 July 2002 in Cuneo, Chiapello boasts a natural ‘advantage’ thanks to his height of 200 centimeters and after his experiences with Cuneo and Fano he is ready for a new adventure in Norman land. Chairman Sergio Di Meo said: “We are delighted to welcome Chiapello Luca to Virtus Aversa. With his experience and talent, we are sure he will be a valuable asset to our team. We are determined to work hard to achieve our goals, and we are confident that the presence of our new striker will give us an edge.”
Chiapello Luca will join his new teammates in mid-August and will immediately start preparing for next season under the orders of coach Sandro Passaro. “I can’t wait to get started – said Chiapello, fresh from his experience in A2 with Cuneo – and I’m super motivated after the club made me understand that they really wanted me.
