Born on 31 July 1995 in Zutphen, in the Netherlands, Auke is a spiker from the German team of SVG Lüneburg, with whom he played in the Bundesliga, the top division in Germany, and the Cev Cup in the last two years, also reaching the final of the national cup. Already in the Dutch national team, with whom he played the 2017 European Championship in Poland, the 202cm tall, 95kg spiker previously wore the shirts of the home team Lycurgus, with whom he won 3 championships, 2 Holland and 5 super cups, and the Belgian team of Tectum Achel.
