Valsugana is preparing to experience a weekend of great volleyball, in the name of Trentino Volley. For three days, between Friday 25 and Sunday 27 August, one of the best known and most renowned valleys in the province of Trento will host the men’s Itas Trentino, which has chosen the locality of Levico Terme (where it will stay in one of the most prestigious hotels in the area ) and Borgo Valsugana (where he will train at the Palazzetto dello Sport in via Gozzer) to carry out a mini-retreat with the players of the new squad already available, which will be joined by some of the most promising elements of the thriving gialloblù nursery.
In fact, the team will show up in Valsugana already strong with eight of the fourteen members of the new squad; Fabio Soli and his staff will be able to take advantage of the three days of training to learn more about the technical characteristics of most of the players that the Trentino management has chosen for the 2023/24 season. The mini-retreat program will include two training sessions of at least 90 minutes each day, divided between work in the swimming pool, in the weight room, on the parquet of the Borghigiano facility, but also on the beach volleyball courts adjacent to the facility.
“The three days of training camp in Valsugana represent a double important opportunity for our team – underlined the Itas Trentino coach Fabio Soli – ; on the one hand they will allow us to get to know each other better, living together many more hours than we normally spend in the gym for simple workouts, and on the other they will allow us to bring our business to one of the most beautiful and passionate volleyball valleys in Trentino. I consider contact with people to be very important and therefore I was the first to be enthusiastic about this weekend which will see us on stage in Levico and Borgo Valsugana”.
