Belluno Volley is ready to travel. And to face their first away match in the Serie A3 Credem Banca championship: in Lombardy. More precisely, in Lomellina, where on Sunday 22 October (6pm, live on the Lega Pallavolo Serie A YouTube channel) the rhinos will visit Moyashi Garlasco.
What type of opponent will the Belluno team face? This was revealed by the technical assistant, Roberto Malaguti: «Moyashi is physically gifted and boasts several new personnel. For example, the setter-opposite diagonal is completely new.” The twenty-five-year-old Milan Peslac acts in the control room: «He is a very technical setter, 196 centimeters tall and just back from a year in Serie B, experienced in the unusual role of opposite. He was returning from an ankle injury suffered the previous season in Ravenna, in the top flight.”
The main offensive terminal, however, is the Argentine opposite Javier Martinez: «Born in 1995, he played in Porto Viro, Modica (in A3) and, last year, in A1 in Latina. He ended his last A3 season with 420 points.” Also new at the center with Orlando Boscardini and Biasotto: «Both come from Lagonegro (A2) and have an important height of 204 and 205 centimeters». In the squad, pay attention to the Portuguese Gustavo Cavalcanti, who until a few months ago wore the Verona shirt in A1, and the confirmed Puliti, in his third year with Garlasco. The other confirmation concerns the libero: Matteo Accorsi.
«Our opponents are entering the second day of the championship after the defeat in Sardinia against Sarlux Sarroch – concludes Roberto Malaguti -. Consequently, we will meet a determined team eager to make up for the deficit of their debut.”
