Tonno Callipo Volley and the Valentia Association have involved the student communities of the area with the realization of the project “From school to the arena”.
Camping on the steps of the PalaMaiata, on the occasion of the penultimate internal match of the regular season, there were not only the banners of the Giallorossi supporters. Also clearly visible are those with a spontaneous message of rejection of war and, at the same time, a sign of solidarity and social inclusion, created by second-level secondary school students in the province of Vibo Valentia as part of the training project “From school to palazzetto” put in place, for the second edition, by the Giallorossi Society together with the Valentia Association.
The exciting match with the Apulian team from Castellana Grotte which took place on Sunday 19 March therefore also became an opportunity to directly involve the young students who, taking advantage of an important stage such as the sporting one, chanted their own “No to war” through the exhibition of their works. Thus the school, the main educational agency, and sport, the only forum to stimulate action and reflection on social and urgently current issues, worked in synergy for a common goal.
The Institutes that have joined the project are: “Enrico Fermi” Industrial Technician, “Enrico Gagliardi” Technician for Surveyors, “Galileo Galilei” Economic Technician.
