Tiziano Mazzone, spiker and captain of Aurispa Libellula, is the first player to be officially confirmed also for the 2023/24 season.
The club has reached an agreement to sign the contract by choosing to start from a fixed point to build a roster capable of competing, even in the next Serie A3 season, in the upper areas of the standings.
Mazzone, a Roman spiker born in 1995, 199 centimeters tall, played several seasons in the Superlega with Trento and Ravenna, to then play in Serie A2 with the jerseys of Cuneo, Lagonegro, Siena and Brescia. Last year, finally, he decides to marry the Aurispa Libellula cause, with which he collects 26 appearances, scoring 386 points which lead him to break through the 1000 points in his career.
The new coach Omar Pelillo therefore has his first pawn on the chessboard which will be enriched in the next few days, thanks to the work of DS Antonio Scaracia, who has already been busy for some time building the best possible team in view of an exciting new season.
