Three athletes from Kemas Lamipel, first team and Under 19, called up to the Junior National Team. Prof. Michele Zanin, head coach of this representative team, has in fact included Luca Loreti (2005), Pardo Mati (2006), Giacomo Russo (2005) on the list, called to a five-day training course to be held in Rome (from 3 January). Subsequently, from 9 to 13 January, the boys will be engaged in Frankfurt (Germany) in the prestigious Wevza Tournament, valid as a qualification for the Under 20 European Championship. The blue group will return to Italy on 14 January.
Naturally, the Serie A Volleyball League has already taken steps to postpone the Kemas Lamipel matches with reference to the dates of 7 January 2024 (at Pala Parenti, against Aversa) and 14 January 2024 (at Pala Parenti, against Prata). We will shortly announce the dates and times of the “recoveries” on our channels.
For the entire Lupi S. Croce movement it is a source of pride to be one of the main “shareholders” of the Junior National team, with 3 players called up out of a total of 14. Only Volley Milano is superior, offering 5 (Diego Frascio, Lorenzo Magliano, Gabriele Mariani, Flavio Morazzini, Gioele Adeola Taiwo), followed by Trentino Volley with 2 (Alessandro Bristot, Marco Fedrici), Diavoli Rosa Brugherio also with 2 (Daniele Carpita, Giacomo Selleri), Delta Group Porto Viro with 1 ( Tommaso Barotto, opposite recently seen in the match between Porto Viro and Kemas Lamipel) and Casarano Volley with 1 (Federico Miraglia).
In addition to Prof. Zanin, the Italian staff will include Giovanni Preti (2nd coach), Matteo Antonucci (technical assistant), Glauco Ranocchi (Physical Trainer/Team Manager), Annalisa Pinto (Scout), Ignazio Raspante (doctor) and Fabio Rossin ( physiotherapist).
From all the red and white people the warmest “good luck” to our boys for this extraordinary experience. When the time comes… assert yourself.
