In the morning the rounds of the Del Monte®Junior League ended. The two Semifinals will be Brugherio – Trento and Monza – Padova, scheduled for today afternoon, Saturday 3 June, at 19.00 after the Finals at 17.00 for 7th and 9th place. At 9.00 and 11.00 tomorrow, however, the races will take place to assign 5th and 3rd place.
Gamma Chimica Brugherio closes the Group in the lead with 11 points Thanks to the success at the photo finish in the comeback in the playoff against Pallavolo Padova, which reaches 10 by accessing the Semifinals as second force in the group together with the Brianza players. The Valsa Group Modena tames Sir Safety Susa Perugia by taking the third step of the group and targeting the Final for the 5th place where they will find the hosts of Lube, while the Block Devils have to settle for the Final for the 7th place against Tank. Already condemned to the consolation final for ninth place Emma Villas Aubay Siena, who will face Verona.
In Group B, at the Eurosuole Forum, the first place with a pass to the Semifinals goes to Vero Volley Monza, winning with the maximum difference against a Top Volley Cisterna in the match only in the last partial and already certain of fourth place in the Pool. The pontini will face against Perugia for the seventh position overall in the event. The eagerly awaited match between Itas Trentino and Cucine Lube Civitanova ends in favor of the Gialloblù after only three sets. The Dolomites are able to direct the first act in their favor and to resist the attempt at a final comeback in the second set.
