Just over a month before the start of the Super League championship, which will see Cisterna Volley welcome (at home) the Italian champions Trento in the match on October 22nd, the team’s work continues. Tomorrow (Thursday) coach Guillermo Falasca’s team will be engaged in joint training with Marcianise, a team that will participate in the next A3 series championship. The appointment is set for 4pm at the building in via delle Province in Cisterna di Latina and is free for everyone. On this occasion, the company will give all fans the opportunity to reserve their place in the building for the next Super League season: simply go to the entrance of the structure, in the ticketing area, to meet the Club staff and choose the place for live a season in close contact with the team.
Meanwhile in the last few hours there has been a further arrival in Cisterna, so after the Spanish spiker Jordi Ramon, coach Guillermo Falasca was also able to embrace the Turkish hammer Efe Bayram, also returning from the European championship. In the last few hours Bayram reached the Pontine town and met his new teammates who are already busy with physical preparation. «Now I will have the time to start my work with the Cisterna Volley staff and prepare in the best possible way for the next commitments – explains the 21 year old spiker, originally from Ankara – now I can dedicate myself to becoming familiar with the new home while as regards the city, I can say that I already know it quite well and the objective will be to be able to have more and more time and opportunity to walk around the Corso and discover the always interesting corners of Cisterna”.
In recent weeks the spiker from the Pontina team had been the absolute protagonist with his national team: two international cups, always experiencing the events at the forefront with the Turkish selection led on the bench by the Italian coach Alberto Giuliani: first the European Golden League won on the tie- break in the final against Ukraine and, in Doha, the Fivb Volleyball Challenger Cup, again at the last gasp, in the match against the hosts Qatar. With this latest victory, the Turkish national team has also won the ticket to access the Volleyball Nations League and so, from 2024 Bayram Efe will also be able to have his say in Vnl.
