After the huge success of the previous editions of the “Teddy Toss”, when thousands of soft toys rained down from the stands of the PalaPanini, on 26 December during the match against Piacenza, the teddy bears will return to fly towards the pitch. In collaboration with Team Enjoy, we are delighted to announce the return of the teddy bears and, as with the previous edition, the collaboration and support of the entire yellow-blue public will be fundamental to the success of this charity event.
What we ask the public is very simple:
– Find a stuffed animal, new or used, as long as it is in excellent condition
– Give him a nice spin in the washing machine, combing and brushing him well, he’s about to start a new life
– Bring it with you for the match on December 26th at PalaPanini
Between the second and third sets, the speaker will announce the moment of the throw and the bears will fly back towards the court. The guys from Team Enjoy will collect them and take care of distributing them to the neonatal department of the Civil Hospital of Pescara, to the Children’s Hospital of Fermo, to the Grassi Children’s Hospital of Ostia, to the Ambulances and Medical Vehicles of Modena Soccorso and the mountain AVAPs and, finally, to the Pediatrics of Lebanon through an international project carried out with the Italian contingent in the area and in collaboration with the Regina Margherita Association.
But it doesn’t end here! To further celebrate what will be a great day of celebration, in collaboration with Ninesquared we have created a match uniform, dedicated to the event, in which the team will take to the pitch for the match. The uniform will be a limited edition and will be available for purchase at the PalaPanini store and the online store in the following days; part of the proceeds deriving from the sale of these uniforms will be used to finance the Enjoy Color Care project for the humanization of the pediatric communities sponsored by the Modena AUSL.
To crown the initiative promoted during the 2022/2023 season, the inauguration of the humanization and “coloring” project of the rooms of the pediatric department took place on 5 December at the Gaslini pediatric hospital in Genoa, in the neuro-gastroenterology department neuro-gastroenterology of the Gaslini institute in Genoa to make the hospitalization of young patients less traumatic during their stay.
