On December 26th a very important clash is coming for Gioiella Prisma against the last of the Farmitalia Catania class, to make clear the value of the team, and to be able to conquer the entire stakes to start thinking about a more interesting scenario than to that of the current ranking, which sees the rossoblù led by Mister Travica just two points behind the Sicilians.
An important match therefore for the city and all volleyball fans who will see the two direct competitors compete in Taranto, at PalaMazzola from 6pm, live on Volleyballworld.tv.
The litmus test therefore for the Ionian team, to be able to bring home a longed-for and near victory during all the matches played, with a couple of exceptions, with convincing and revealing evidence of the potential value of the team, but so far never aimed at a result positive. The last one even revealed a team with two extreme faces, a team capable of defeating a concrete and strong Milan for 2 and a half sets, only to then inexplicably succumb and leave the field with a tie break with an embarrassing result.
These drops in tension, be they physical or psychological, can no longer occur within a match, if we want to demonstrate the turnaround and the true character as well as the substance of this group, made up of expert professional athletes who descend into field and know volleyball well, together with promising and indomitable young people who are looking for a way to establish themselves and grow in the world of volleyball. It will therefore be up to all of them to put a stop to this situation, and doing so in front of an audience that supports them will be the real challenge on December 26th.
But on the other side of the net there won’t be a naive team willing to suffer the home team’s game, nor to give up: there will be Farmitalia Catania who in the meantime have already won a victory against Cisterna, also in the last match they came close to winning with a Modena team that chased the Sicilians for the entire match.
