Simone arrived in Prata last season with an important pedigree: for him two victories in Reggio Emilia with the conquest of the championship and the Serie A2 Italian Cup.
The Calabrian middle blocker also confirmed his aptitudes on the PalaPrata field by showcasing important numbers. At the end of the season he was the sixth best blocker in the championship with 66 points won with this fundamental. Also adding the attack and serve statistics, he divided the tenth position among the central players in the company of his department mate Nicolò Katalan.
