When a boy from the youth academy manages to conquer a place in the first team it is always a source of pride for the whole movement. And if this athlete has a white-blue path like Simone Giordano’s, the prospects increase. The reliability, determination, passion, attachment to the team and team mates that Simone has always shown in all the years of his volleyball growth in Cuneo are certainly characteristics that have greatly influenced the choice of coach Battocchio for next season in A2.
In 2019 in Alba Adriatica, as captain of the U16, he raised the championship cup. A new generation of Fiöi that at the end of the youth path, for quality and merit, gets to be part of the roster of the first team.
« When I was offered to play in the first team I didn’t think twice and immediately accepted. Cuneo has always been among the most important clubs in Italy and being part of it makes me even more proud.
