ErmGroup San Giustino completes the setter roster for the 2023/24 season with the signing of Tommaso Troiani from Terni, born in 1995 and 178 centimeters tall. Raised in Ternana Volleyball, remaining there from minivolley up to Under 13, he then moved on to Terni’s Clt, reaching the national finals and in 2010/’11 at Rpa Perugia, playing in Serie C and Under 16 national finals and winning a second place at the Regions Trophy. In 2012 he was with Grifo Volley Perugia in C, a category in which he also played the following year with Clt Terni, then the leap to B2 in Città di Castello in 2015/’16 again in C in Chiusi, together with 5 appearances in A2 with Siena. Another return to Clt Terni in B and three more seasons in a row in the same category with Macerata, Orte and Anguillara. Yet another return to Clt Terni in C, before the last two seasons in Orte in B: two years ago he was an opponent of ErmGroup, in whose ranks he has now landed with the aim of making his debut in Serie A3. A career so far between B and C (respectively seven and six championships), with the great opportunity that arrives for him at the age of 28 and which obviously makes him more motivated than ever. “This is my first experience in A3 – Troiani remarked – and without a doubt the dream of each of us, when he starts playing, is to be able to reach Serie A one day. Coming to San Giustino means for me to put the icing on on the cake, because I think I have given a lot to volleyball and now volleyball is paying me back”.
