Last night, Tuesday 19 December at 11.10pm on Rai 2, “Semprexsempre-Noi Italia” was broadcast, the new documentary which tells the story from the point of view of the Italian protagonists of the double European Championship which involved 9 Italian cities.
The docufilm, directed by Mario Maellaro and created by A.F. Project with the patronage and co-production of the Italian Volleyball Federation, is a fantastic journey with many backstage anecdotes, the private lives of athletes, their transfers between one playing venue and another; a journey expertly documented by Maellaro during the continental events, exploring, in addition to the purely sporting aspect, feelings, friendship and passion.
The story, edited by Rai Sport director Jacopo Volpi, revolves around the two Italian national teams called to play a leading role during the European Championships organized in Italy, two teams capable in the previous two years of achieving extraordinary results such as the splendid victories at the continental competitions 2021 and the magnificent success of the men’s national team in the world championship in Poland.
In addition to being broadcast again on RaiSport in the next few days, the docufilm is already available on Raiplay.
