The opposites Yuri Romanò and Fabrizio Gironi with the free Leonardo Scanferla are among the 16 athletes called up by the Technical Commissioner Ferdinando De Giorgi in view of the European Championships.
On Friday 4 August, the men’s national team will gather again in Cavalese, in Val di Fiemme, where it will officially begin its preparations in view of the European tournament which, as is known, will kick off on 28 August in Bologna with the opening match against Belgium .
The technical commissioner Ferdinando De Giorgi has summoned the following athletes for the collegiate season which will end on August 13th:
Setters: Simone Giannelli, Riccardo Sbertoli
Central players: Giovanni Sanguinetti, Leandro Mosca, Gianluca Galassi, Roberto Russo, Simone Anzani
Free: Fabio Balaso, Leonardo Scanferla
Opposites: Yuri Romanò, Fabrizio Gironi, Alessandro Bovolenta
