Roberto Bongiorno will be another spiker of the Lagonegro Volleyball Rebirth. Originally from Atessa (CH) born in 1996, he will start playing volleyball in Serie C at a very young age for Volleyball Selci and stay there for the next three seasons. He will play in 2016 for Gherardi Città di Castello in B2, then he will always play in Serie B for Pallavolo Montorio, CLT Terni, Pallavolo Cosenza, Sarroch and Alto Canavese Volley. In 2020 he will be called up to A3 for Normanna Aversa Academy, in 2021/22 he will play for Con.Crea Marigliano. Last season he wore the shirt of Abba Pineto, a club with which he will win the A3 Italian Cup and the A3 Super Cup.

After the experience in Pineto, winning the two cups, I come with the awareness of wanting to win and I fully embrace the Lagonegro project. I’m enthusiastic, I want to win and I can’t wait to start this new adventure.”
