Preparation has begun for the boys of the Lagonegro Volleyball. As every year, the initial greetings took place at the Palasport of Villa D’Agri with the President Carlomagno, the management, the staff, the athletes who, after the welcome and greetings, dedicated themselves to the first physical tests.
“The boys are all motivated – explains coach Lorizio – like us they want redemption, some of them want to get involved, to show themselves especially the younger ones. We managed to build a good team with experienced players and young players with a lot of potential. I was able to talk to the more experienced ones, their task will be to bring the younger, less experienced ones into the mentality we need!”
“ Good impression, it can already be seen from the faces of the boys who have a great desire to work – explains President Charlemagne at the official greeting of the season – we want Rebirth, like the club and myself included, I am convinced that they will work hard under the skilled hands of the mister Lorizio and I’m very confident about this vintage.”
To give voice to the boys, the spiker Stefano Armenante, to melt the ice a bit, now a veteran of the team reconfirmed for the fourth consecutive year.
“Yesterday was a day of comings and goings for some here at Villa D’agri, and I’ve already felt good vibes and I think we’d definitely be a great group, which for me is the basis of everything. The group is strong and they are the basis for being able to face the championship. Today with the presentation I saw my teammates who were fierce and with a great desire to win and play in the best possible way, my good luck goes to my teammates but above all to the club ”
There is no shortage of thanks to the Mayor of Marsicovetere, Marco Zippari, from President Carlomagno “A special thanks to Mayor Zipparri and his administration: the presence this morning at the first official meeting was also fundamental. By now I feel Villa D’Agri is home, they don’t miss anything and we are delighted to be playing here.” In his speech and greetings, the mayor thanked the Lagonegro club for having always chosen Villa d’Agri as the home of this great club and, addressing the players, he wanted to underline that nothing is taken for granted, that sacrifice always pays off and that “from our passion the our work” explaining to them that their commitment and passion will bring great results, wishing them a championship full of successes.
