There are two players from Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza who will participate with the national team led by Francesco Fanizza at the XXXI Universiade in Chengdu, scheduled from 29 July to 7 August in China.
The head coach Ferdinando De Giorgi has defined the list of 12 Azzurri which sees the presence of Francesco Recine and Edoardo Caneschi.
There are therefore five red and whites engaged with the national team in this period, Yuri Romanò, Leonardo Scanferla and Fabrizio Gironi are currently engaged in the VNL finals underway in Gdansk in Poland.
The meeting of the blue group is scheduled for July 23rd at the “Giulio Onesti” Olympic Training Centre, the departure for China on July 24th and the return on August 8th.
