The women’s volleyball European Championship opened in a unique context such as that of the Verona Arena, which inaugurated the tournament with the match between Italy and Romania, which ended 3-0 in favor of the Azzurre.
Also attending the meeting was a delegation from Rana Verona, made up of Luca Spirito, Noumory Keita, Lorenzo Cortesia, Francesco D’Amico and Francesco Sani, who were able to enjoy the show offered by the event. A special evening for the city, but above all for the international volleyball movement, which has returned to the Arena di Verona thirty-five years after the last time.
